Dr. Taylor is a wonderful doctor. She listens, she cares and she knows her stuff.

I was routinely suffering from exhaustion, weakness and weight gain. I also found myself in a mild funk, nothing really excited me anymore. In addition, I have two young boys and it was becoming harder and harder to keep up with them. Just taking them to the park, took a maximum effort from me. All in all, I felt I wasn’t being the husband and father I wanted to be.

So, I finally went to my GP for a full physical and listed all my issues. I had also researched low thyroid (family history) and low testosterone (A few years back I had a diagnoses).  My GP ordered all the blood work and tests. When the results came back, my GP informed me that all my results were “normal”, including cholesterol, thyroid and testosterone. I debated my GP about the lab results, my symptoms, my family history etc. for half an hour. The best my GP could do for was a laminated picture of a “dieters” plate. My mother who is an R.N. warned me about this interpretation of the lab results from the GP because she had been dealing with GP’s and “old-school understanding” about her low thyroid issue for years. She suggested I find a specialist.

That’s when I found Dr. Taylor and I’m so lucky I did. I took the same lab results to her and she immediately picked up on the low thyroid and low testosterone. I hadn’t mentioned the experience I had with my GP yet. She listened, as I explained all my issues and concerns. She ordered a few additional blood tests to be thorough. Once those results were back, we discussed my symptoms in detail and the various treatment options. I really like that she was interested in finding treatment(s) that would work best for me and my busy schedule. For her, it’s about treating the whole patient not just the symptoms. She really understands the importance of proper hormone balance and having a healthy mind and body.

All I can say is WOW, I feel incredible now. My energy is back, I feel stronger and things are looking up. I realize now, I had forgotten how good it is to feel “GOOD!”. It’s not a miracle cure, as Dr. Taylor and I discussed. I still need to exercise and work on my nutrition but I’m in such a better place that it all seems doable now. My wife and kids have also noticed the new “spark” in dad which is awesome too.  As far as I’m concerned Dr. Taylor is incredible. I highly recommend a visit to her office
